Season 3 of Buffy the Vampire Slayer aired from September 1998 to July 1999. It is widely regarded as the show’s most consistently excellent season — a year that introduced Faith, developed the Mayor as one of television’s most effective villains, and concluded with a finale that blew up the high school. The senior year arc is as good as the show ever got.
