Pedro Pascal has become the internet’s collective “daddy” — and Sarah Michelle Gellar has something to say about that, specifically from a Buffy perspective.
SMG posted a Buffy throwback this week leaning into the fact that she literally staked Pedro Pascal’s character in Season 3. Given that “daddy” is the term of endearment the internet has decided belongs to Pascal at the moment, this makes SMG something like his… well. You can see where this is going.
Pascal played Eddie, a student-turned-vampire, in the Season 3 premiere “Anne.” He lasted approximately ten minutes before Buffy found him. SMG has not forgotten this. She’d like everyone else to remember it too.
It’s the kind of post that only she can really pull off — part shade, part celebration, entirely on brand. We already had a post about their Buffy connection back in February. This is the June 2023 update, and it’s better.
